Bangkok’s First Monorail, the Yellow Line, running from Ladprao station to Samrong station started its first trial operations
The countdown of Bangkok’s First Monorail officially begins.
On 12 October 2022, the Yellow Line Monorail running from Ladprao station to Samrong station started its first trial operations.
In its first phase, the train is equipped with 4 carriages per train with a capacity to hold 17,000 passengers per hour, per direction.
The total distance of the Yellow Line Monorail runs up to 30.4 kilometers along with 23 stations and the overall completion progress is at 96% with full operations expected to begin within the next year.
