Travelodge has confirmed it will open its third hotel in Thailand, Travelodge Nimman Chiang Mai, in 2021 according to Travelodge Thailand CEO, Jonathan Wigley.
Travelodge already has two fully operational hotels in the popular tourist destinations of Bangkok and Pattaya.
Next year properties are due to come online in Phuket and Jomtien, the next bay south of Pattaya.
“Travelodge Nimman Chiang Mai” will be ready to welcome guests in 2021 Wigley confirmed.
Travelodge Nimman Chiang Mai is located on Nimmanhaemin Road, just a short drive from Chiang Mai’s trendy shopping and entertainment zone.
The property will bring 406 rooms to the highly competitive Chiang Mai hotel market. It will feature an all-day dining restaurant, outdoor swimming pool and fully-equipped fitness centre. Globally, there are over 1,000 Travelodge-branded hotels across North America, Europe, Australia and Asia. In Asia, there are properties in Hong Kong, Thailand, Malaysia, South Korea and Singapore.
