In consideration of the rising electric power demand, the government plans to double the electric generation capacity by 2030. It is an urgent subject to reinforce the power transmission and distribution equipment for a stable electric supply. This substation, as a part of extra-high voltage power transmission lines, will supply the electricity to the eastern area of Bangkok where there are many industrial parks and a large electric power demand. After the completion, this substation will contribute to the stable electric supply to the Bangkok area and the economic development in Thailand. In addition to that, the installation of the latest facilities will promote the high efficiency, save space and contribute to reduce the environmental load.
