Rotary Engineering secures contracts in Thailand

Mainboard-listed Rotary Engineering announced on Friday (Sept 16) that it has secured contracts worth approximately S$64 million for the June to September period.

Rotary said that amidst the challenging oil and gas industry it remains resilient by securing smaller and more varied jobs beyond tank storage construction.

Many of the new projects require integration of several engineering and construction skills such as piping, mechanical, electrical and instrumentation, metal and alloy fabrication, and HVAC (heating, ventilation, air-conditioning).

Rotary said a key project awarded was being the main contractor for the extension of a chemical storage and handling facility in the United Arab Emirates.

The group has also secured two contracts for fabrication works of oil and gas production-related modules in Thailand.

It also won an engineering, procurement and construction ontract for the revamp and capacity expansion of a grease manufacturing plant in Samut Sakorn province.
