NWR bags contract to build port at Laem Chabang, helps build its backlog for 2011

Nawarat Patanakarn Plc (NWR), a leading construction contractor, has just signed a new agreement to for a contract that is worth 4 billion Baht, to construct a port in Laem Chabang.

Watcharapat Watcharapai, general manager of NWR, said that the company has just made a deal to construct a port in Laem Chabang, worth 4 billion Baht. The company will announce the completed deal by the early 2011 and it will record revenues from this project of about 1 billion Baht each year, starting from 2011.

Meanwhile, its backlog at the early of 2011 will increase to 14 billion Baht. The revenue for 2011 will grow to touch 4 billion Baht and the jobs it will get are about 5 billion Baht.

As for the performance of 2010, the company expects nearly 3.6 billion Baht or lower than the target slightly from 3.4 billion Baht of revenues seen in 2009; the first nine month of this year has made 2.93 billion Baht already.
