Marriott International adds four Thailand properties in Bangkok and Pattaya

Marriott International, has signed an agreement with Asset World Corp Plc to add four new properties in Bangkok and Pattaya, Thailand.

The multi-property agreement will give the hotel group a Ritz-Carlton Reserve, Thailand’s first JW Marriott Marquis hotel in Bangkok and two Autograph Collection hotels in Bangkok and Pattaya.

The 124-room Ritz-Carlton Reserve located at Bangkok’s Asiatique Riverfront should open by 2027. In addition to a JW Marriott Marquis Hotel Asiatique Bangkok with 1,000 rooms is also due for completion by 2027 on the same entertainment real estate that fronts the Thai capital Chao Phraya River.

The 200-room Asiatique Bangkok, Autograph Collection hotel has a planned opening set for 2024, also at the same riverside complex. It will be the first Autograph Collection branded hotel in Thailand.

Targeted to open by 2024, the 306-room Aquatique Pattaya, an Autograph Collection hotel, will join the Pattaya Marriott Marquis Hotel and JW Marriott The Pattaya Beach Resort & Spa, both currently under construction.

All the properties are owned by Thailand’s Asset World Corporation.

Marriott International’s portfolio in Thailand encompasses 45 hotels and resorts currently in operation, including nine properties owned by Asset World Corporation.
