Hotel Lotte Myanmar to open on 1 September 2017

South Korea’s Hotel Lotte Co. will open its eighth offshore hotel in Myanmar`s commercial city of Yangon on September 1, the company announced Tuesday.

Hotel Lotte Yangon completed after four years of construction is located by scenic Inya Lake, a popular outing destination in the city. It is 7.6 kilometers away from the Yangon International Airport.

The city of Yangon had been Myanmar’s capital until 2006 and its economy is growing fast with the launch of the country’s first special economic zone Thilawa in 2015.

Hotel Lotte Yangon is comprised of two buildings, 15-story hotel with 343 guest rooms and 29-story serviced apartment bloc with 315 units. The hotel complex also houses Yangon’s largest banquet hall, swimming pool overlooking the Inya Lake, and other dining and service facilities.

All guest rooms in Hotel Lotte Yangon come with a lakeside view and are available in 10 different types including a 337-sqare meters (m²) royal suite that features a study and large dining room.

The serviced apartment bloc is equipped with various facilities including a children’s playroom. There are 19 different types of serviced apartments with floor space ranging from 62m² to 339m².

Hotel Lotte Yangon will be run by locals.
