Crawford & Company launches Japan desk in Thailand to access Crawford’s claims management services
Crawford & Company has launched a dedicated Japan desk in Bangkok, to support the growing presence of Japanese firms in Thailand and the rest of the Southeast Asian region.
The Japan desk will be led by Tetsuya Fujita, director of the company’s Japanese Business Unit, a statement from Crawford said. The facility will help Japanese businesses in the region to access the full range of Crawford’s claims management services for large and complex risks, including property, business interruption, construction, liability and cyber.
The move, Crawford said, demonstrates its steadfast commitment to meeting the needs of its customers, through its “One Crawford” approach. The desk will bring together its operations in Japan and Thailand, represented by managing directors Mamoru Tanouchi and Patipan Soodarram, respectively.
According to Tanouchi, the new facility will be able to connect all parties – the carrier, the broker and the insured – and allow for quicker resolution of claims.
“At Crawford, we are constantly striving to find new ways to bring ourselves closer to our clients to ensure we deliver an exceptional level of service and deliver on our purpose to restore and enhance lives, businesses and communities,” said Veronica Grigg (pictured), president, Asia, Crawford & Company. “With the establishment of our Japan Desk, we are providing that local presence while providing access to our global capabilities to support the efficient and seamless management of every claim.”
