Opening ceremony of Bangkok’s new Rama X Bridge (Thosamarachan Bridge)
Their Majesties the King and Queen presided over the opening ceremony of the Thosamarachan Bridge, located on Rama 3 – Dao Khanong – Western Outer Ring Road Expressway in Yannawa District, Bangkok, on Dec 14.
Prime Minister Paetongtarn Shinawatra led ministers and officials from the Ministry of Transport in welcoming Their Majesties.
Also known as Rama X Bridge, is Thailand’s widest bridge, featuring 8 traffic lanes. The bridge has a mid-span length of 450 meters and a total length of 780 meters, rising 41 meters above mean sea level.
