1. Nakhon Ratchasima: 2,179
2. Ubon Ratchathani: 1,848
3. Roi Et: 1,647
4. Khon Kaen: 1,545
5. Udon Thani: 1,532
6. Chiang Mai: 1,459
7. Sisaket: 1,388
8. Sakon Nakhon: 1,241
9. Buriram: 1,097
10. Chaiyaphum: 1,095
Among these, only one province, Chiang Mai, is not located in the north-eastern (Esaan) region of Thailand.
