Vestas wins 100MW Vietnam wind order for an undisclosed customer
Manufacturer will supply 24 V150-4.2MW turbines for the undisclosed project in the Mekong Delta
The order covers supply, supervision of turbine installation, and commissioning of the wind project.
Located near the shorelines of the Mekong Delta, the wind farm will include 24 V150-4.2MW wind turbines with a number delivered in 4MW operating mode, all with a hub height of 105 metres.
Vestas will service the wind farm for 15 years.
Commissioning of the wind farm, for the undisclosed customer, is planned for the fourth quarter of 2022.
With this project, Vestas’ total capacity of onshore wind turbines in Vietnam will surpass 1.6GW.
