Tiana eyes up Mitsubishi for JV in India

Tiana Group of India is reported to be keen to partner with Japan’s Mitsubishi Corporation in the sectors of power generation, infrastructure development and oil and gas in India.

According to Tiana, the Indian government has given approval in principle for the company’s plans to build 90 power projects across the county. The projects will comprise hydro, thermal, solar, wind and nuclear power, and will utilize Mitsubishi’s expertise in setting up, operating and maintaining these power plants.

Tiana is particularly keen on contributing to the pollution control efforts in India said Mohammedi Fatehi, director, and will seek help from Mitsubishi in this effort too.
