The Hottest Seat in International Arbitration Debate – 23 June 2026, Bangkok, co-organised by the CIArb Thailand Branch and the Thailand Arbitration Center
The second edition of “The Hottest Seat in International Arbitration Debate,” co-organised by the CIArb Thailand Branch and the Thailand Arbitration Center.
Three years on from our sold-out first edition, we are bringing the debate back: bigger, fiercer, and with an even stronger lineup. Seven practitioners, each championing a different seat of international arbitration, will go head-to-head to make the case for why their seat deserves the crown. You vote at the end.
This year’s debaters are travelling in from overseas for what promises to be a lively and genuinely contested evening with comradery. The debate will be moderated by Dr. Roland Amoussou of Vovan & Associes, author of “The Seat is King” and our moderator from the first edition.

Registration: 6:00 PM BKT
Debate: 6:30 PM – 8:00 PM BKT (also available via live stream)
Cocktail Networking: 8:00 PM onwards (in-person attendees)
