Starwood Aloft to debut in Bangkok in April 2011

Starwood Hotels and Resorts is opening its first south east Asian Aloft property in Thailand next year.

Aloft Bangkok – Sukhumvit 11 will have 297 rooms and four meetings spaces totalling around 160sqm.

The hotel’s general manager Brendan Daly said: “We’re excited to introduce the Aloft experience to savvy travellers coming to Bangkok. The Aloft concept is the perfect fit for Bangkok’s Sukhumvit – it’s fresh, stylish, and urban.”

The brand has also opened Aloft hotels in India and Oklahoma this year.
