‘One Bangkok’ mixed-use development planned to become the tallest building in Thailand
A series of skyscrapers are currently under construction in Bangkok, including one that is set to become the tallest building in Thailand.
Frasers Property is undertaking the construction of the mixed-use development ‘One Bangkok’ which developers claim will be the largest ‘holistically integrated’ district in the capital city.
The project, with an estimated cost of 3.9 billion USD, spans an area of 16.7 hectares (41 acres).
It overlooks the city’s Lumphini Park. Prior to the construction, the site was home to a night market and the old Lumpinee Boxing Stadium at the intersection of the Rama IV Road and Witthayu Road in the Pathum Wan district.
The mixed-use development includes several buildings, namely O4H4, O2, O1B, O1AH1, H3C3A, C5, C3B, P5, H2A, R1, and R2. O4H4, or Signature Tower, is planned to become the tallest building in Thailand, reaching a height of 430 metres.
The project started on March 8, 2018, and is expected to be completed by 2026.
