New Phra Nang Klao Pier in Nonthaburi opens to serve Greater Bangkok’s MRT customers
Phra Nang Klao Pier is now open and facilitating commuters on the MRT Chalong Ratchadham line and MRT Purple Line in Nonthaburi.
The pier will be serviced by Chao Phraya Express Boat and Energy Absolute which operates the Mine Smart Ferry, an e-boat along the Chao Phraya River.
The express boat runs between the Pak Kret and Sathon piers. It stops at Phra Nang Klao Pier from Monday to Friday at 6.30am, 7am, 7.30am and 8am and during evenings at 5.20pm, 5.50pm, 6.15pm and 6.45pm.
Meanwhile, Mine Smart Ferry also plies between Phra Nang Klao to Sathon piers daily. The boat departs from the new pier on weekdays at 6.10am, 6.50am, 7.10am and 7.30am and on weekends at 6.30am and 7.30am. The return trips from Sathon during weekdays run at 4.25pm, 4.45pm, 5.05pm, 5.25pm and 5.45pm. During the weekend, the boat leaves Sathon pier at 4pm and 5pm. A one-way ticket is 20 baht.
