Hyatt Regency Takes Over Suvarnabhumi Airport Hotel

Rebranding aims to enhance service quality and offer a world-class experience at Thailand’s main gateway.

In a move that promises to elevate the hospitality experience at Thailand’s main international gateway, Suvarnabhumi Airport Hotel Co., Ltd. and Universal Hospitality Joint Venture announced a new management agreement on January 31, 2025, to rebrand the hotel as Hyatt Regency Bangkok Suvarnabhumi Airport.

The signing ceremony, held at the hotel’s Srivichai meeting room, was attended by Dr. Darut Khamwichittanapa, Chairman of Suvarnabhumi Airport Hotel Co., Ltd., along with Ms. Chittimas Ketvoravit, Managing Director, and Ms. Bovornrudee Poonsornsiri, Co-Managing Director of Universal Hospitality. This marks the second renewal of their management agreement, reflecting their commitment to continuous improvement and raising the hotel’s standards to world-class levels.

Elevating the Airport Hotel Experience

With its rebranding to Hyatt Regency Bangkok Suvarnabhumi Airport, the hotel aims to become the best airport hotel in the region, supporting Thailand’s growing role as a top tourist destination and accommodating the increasing number of international passengers at Suvarnabhumi Airport. The transition and improvement process under the Hyatt brand will commence on February 1, 2025.

As the only official hotel of Suvarnabhumi Airport, Hyatt Regency Bangkok Suvarnabhumi Airport offers 610 spacious rooms, ranging from 35 to 65 square metres, each featuring a bathtub and full modern amenities. Guests can enjoy 24-hour flexible check-in and a complimentary 24-hour shuttle service to and from the airport terminal, ensuring a seamless travel experience.

World-Class Facilities

The hotel boasts eight restaurants and bars, a spa, an outdoor pool surrounded by greenery, and a comprehensive fitness centre with steam and sauna rooms. Its extensive meeting and event facilities can accommodate up to 1,000 guests, making it ideal for conferences, weddings, and large gatherings.

The rebranding reflects a vision of continuous development in line with the Thai government’s tourism policies.
