Hilton Sukhumvit Bangkok hotel construction underway in Thailand

Construction work is in progress on the new-build, 24-storey Hilton Sukhumvit Bangkok, and a conversion project to be re-branded as DoubleTree by Hilton hotel in Thailand.

The Hilton Sukhumvit Bangkok hotel will offer 287 guest rooms including 35 suites and feature food and beverage outlets including an all-day dining restaurant, a bar and a lobby lounge. The new hotel will also encompass an outdoor swimming pool, a fully-equipped, state-of-the-art health club and a luxury health spa.

The building also features meeting and conference facilities which include a main conference room of 465 square metres and meeting rooms totalling 697 square metres. The new facility will include a fully-equipped business centre and an executive floor for the convenience of business travellers looking for enhanced services. The work on the hotel is for completion in 2012.

The refurbishment of the DoubleTree by Hilton hotel features a comprehensive multi-phase redesign and includes extensive upgrades in guest rooms, food and beverage outlets, conference facilities and public space.

The 24-storey hotel will include 182 modern guest rooms including 12 suites. The hotel will also include an outdoor swimming pool and a fully-equipped, state-of-the-art fitness centre.

The hotel’s meeting and event facilities will feature a main conference room of 512 square metres, which can be divided into three meeting rooms, along with a fully-equipped business centre. The hotel will reopen as DoubleTree by Hilton, Sukhumvit Bangkok in 2012.
