EPC tender for 50 MWp in Vietnam ends soon

Electricity of Vietnam (EVN) is looking for an engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) contractor for a 50-MWp solar project.
The deadline for bids is July 25, according to a tender notice by the state-owned power company. The contract will be for the Phuoc Thai 1 Solar Power Plant project in Ninh Thuan Province.
In the past weeks there have been news of two bigger solar photovoltaic (PV) projects in Vietnam. B.Grimm Power (SET:BGRIM) signed a deal with Vietnamese conglomerate Xuan Cau to build a 420-MW solar park in the city of Tay Ninh, while Siemens and Arctech Solar got equipment orders for a 258-MWp solar farm in Ninh Thuan.
