EPC Contract Signed For 1200MW Quang Trach 1 Thermal Power Plant.
EPC contract worth nearly $1.29 bil Quang Trach 1 thermal power plant in the central province of Quang Binh.
EPC consortium comprising Japan’s Mitsubishi Corp, Hyundai Engineering and Construction Company (HEC) of the Republic of Korea (RoK), and Construction Corporation No.1 of Vietnam.
Construction expected to begin 3Q2021, for completion in 2025.
Two (2) turbines with combined design capacity of 1,200 MW, is expected to supply about 8.4 billion kWh of electricity to the national grid per year.
