Energy Absolute brings live 45-MW Thai wind park in Nakhon Si Thammarat
Thai renewable project developer Energy Absolute PCL (BKK:EA) has launched commercial operations at the 45-MW Hadkanghan 2 wind farm in southern Thailand.
The wind power facility in Nakhon Si Thammarat province has been connected to the grid and is already producing power for the Electricity Generating Authority of Thailand (EGAT), Energy Absolute said last week. The plant is owned by the company’s subsidiary EA Wind Hadkanghan 3 Co Ltd.
According to its website, Energy Absolute has eight wind projects with a combined capacity of 386 MW. In April it said it will start building a 260-MW plant in Chaiyaphum this year.
