Vietnam’s major sea-crossing bridge in northern Quang Ninh Province nears completion
Two sides of a sea-crossing bridge along Vietnam’s longest interprovincial expressway in northern Quang Ninh Province have been joined together.
Van Tien Bridge spans 1.5 kilometers linking Van Don and Tien Yen districts of Quang Ninh, home to world-renowned Ha Long Bay.
Costing VND800 billion ($35 million), it is the largest bridge of the Van Don – Mong Cai expressway project and the longest in Quang Ninh.
Van Don – Mong Cai Expressway, the longest interprovincial route in Vietnam is part of Hai Phong – Ha Long – Van Don – Mong Cai Expressway that links northern port city Hai Phong with Quang Ninh.
