Ryder Jones are working with an industry leading Project Management Company who are currently looking for a MEP Project Manager experienced in the Construction Sector.
This is an excellent opportunity which has arisen as a result of continual growth and expansion within the region. The company are looking to bring on the MEP Project Manager to be based in their Mixed Use Development in Thailand.
The company specialise directly in Buildings projects of prestigious nature across a number of countries within the region and are pursuing further avenues within the sector.
The position is essentially reporting into the Project Director.
Having extensive exposure and market knowledge of the Buildings industry including Residential/Commercial/High-Rise/Mixed Use and Retail is essential.
Responsibilities of the role include:
•Developing, testing and evaluating theoretical designs;
•Discussing and solving complex problems with other departments, sub-contractors and suppliers
•Making sure services will perform consistently in specified operating environments
•Managing projects using engineering principles and techniques
•Using research, analytical, conceptual and planning skills
•Be aware of cost, safety and time constraints
•Working closely with the construction team
•Oversee HSE for all MEP staff
•Troubleshoot and provide solutions for MEP issues
The following are desirable qualities:
•15+ years’ experience in the construction industry
•8+ years specifically in Project Management roles
•Availability: As soon as possible
•Have previous experience in South East Asia
•Be able to lead a team effectively
The successful applicant must:
•Have minimum a B.Sc. or M.Sc. level degree
•Have worked on a high rise building above 50 storeys
•Be fluent reading, writing and speaking the English language
•Be able to relocate to Thailand
•Have knowledge of the Construction Industry within Asia
•Have Project Management experience within Asia
