Each signed the deals — estimated to total roughly 70-80 billion yen (US$841-961 million) — with wholly owned units of Gulf JP Co., a Thai subsidiary of Electric Power Development Co. (TSE:9513), or J-Power. Mitsui will handle the construction work, while Toyo Engineering will supply the equipment.
