ITD Secures B3.99bn Contract for Bangkok Central Hospital Medical Center Despite being linked to a building collapse that killed at least 95 people and a separate crane accident in which a crane fell onto a train, killing at least 32 others within less than a year, Italian-Thai Development Plc (ITD) has secured another major state contract from the Bangkok Metropolitan Administration (BMA) for the Central Hospital Medical Center and the Medical Services Department building, valued at 3.99 billion baht, including VAT.
The company disclosed to the Stock Exchange of Thailand that the contract was signed on Jan 7, 2026.
The project includes the demolition of 10 existing buildings and the construction of a 21-storey multipurpose building with four basement levels, with a total usable area of about 126,500 square metres.
Additional work covers landscaping, site planning, related structures and equipment installation.
Construction is scheduled to take 1,600 days.
