
MCEF completes structural assessment of +200 quake-damaged buildings in Myanmar’s Mandalay
Led by the Mandalay Region Construction Entrepreneurs Association, a joint team comprised of experts, engineers, and Parahita groups completed structural assessments for more than 200 quake-affected buildings in Mandalay, according to the Myanmar Construction Entrepreneurs Federation (MCEF).
The team conducted the survey as of 6 April through Thingyan, without taking a break, and more than 200 houses were covered, said MCEF.

MCEF’s technology development committee has planned to hold a panel discussion on raising public awareness of the earthquake hazard on 27 April, and 5 experts who are well-known in the geoscience and engineering field will be featured.
