Kew Green Hotels Continues South East Asia Expansion, Launching Two Cassia By Banyan Tree Group In Bangkok, Thailand

Kew Green Hotels, one of the leading UK and international hotel management companies with over 55 hotels in its portfolio, continues its expansion in South East Asia, announcing the signing of two Cassia by Banyan Tree Group properties in Bangkok to be delivered by Siamese and Kew Green Management Company Thailand: Cassia by Banyan Tree Group Rama 9 and Cassia by Banyan Tree Group Ram Intra.
This follows the announcement in 2020 of the signing of five hotels in Bangkok, bringing it to a total of seven hotels to be delivered by Siamese and Kew Green Management Company Thailand: Four under the Wyndham Hotels & Resorts brand umbrella which are due to open from 2021 and the Crowne Plaza Bangkok Rama 9, due to open in 2023. To support the launch of these seven properties, Kew Green Hotels will also be launching a Commercial Hub for South East Asia to support the region, based in Bangkok.
Cassia by Banyan Tree Group Rama 9 will launch in the 3rd quarter of 2022 with 300 rooms within a mixed-use development, Siamese Rama 9, which also features high-end apartments, office space and a mall. Close to the Thai capital’s new central business district, the property is conveniently located on the bustling Rama 9, offering exceptional access to world-class shopping at Central Plaza Grand and connectivity to the rest of Bangkok via a nearby MRT station.
Cassia by Banyan Tree Group Ram Intra is a home away from home for leisure and business guests, loc ated in north east Bangkok, with connectivity to the Thai capital’s central business district and leisure attractions. The hotel features 220 rooms and will launch in 2024.

In 2020 it was announced that Siamese and Kew Green Management Company Thailand will launch a further five properties in the heart of Bangkok from 2021 onwards: The Wyndham Queen Convention Centre, Wyndham Garden Sukhumvit 42, Ramada Plaza by Wyndham Sukhumvit 48, Ramada by Wyndham Sukhumvit 87 and Crowne Plaza Bangkok Rama 9.
The Wyndham Queen Convention Centre Hotel & Residences, with 150 rooms and suites, is conveniently located just 50m from Queen Sirikit National Convention Centre MRT station, yet close to the greenery of Benjakitti and Lumpini parks plus the oasis of Bang Kachao. The hotel and residences offer panoramic views of the Chao Phraya River, the bustling Port of Bangkok and outstanding surroundings. Ramada Plaza by Wyndham Sukhumvit 48 offers 100 rooms together with a sky bar, restaurant, bar lounge and spa with far reaching views across the city plus a swimming pool and gardens. The hotel is less than 10 minutes’ walk from Phra Khanong BTS Sky Train with easy connectivity to world-class shopping, dining and nightlife.
Ra mada by Wyndham Sukhumvit 87 is located between BTS Bang Chak and BTS Onnut at 430m and 550m respectively, with convenient access to shopping malls and entertainment in the Ekkamai area. With 85 rooms, the hotel offers a dedicated yoga room and roof-top gardens, a swimming pool, garden and Kafeology coffee bar.
Crowne Plaza Bangkok Rama 9, due to launch in 2023, features 285 rooms, also within the mixed-use development, Siamese Rama 9. This marks the first time IHG has completed a franchise agreement in Thailand, as they expand their relationship with long-term partner Kew Green Hotels, as part of the Joint Venture with experienced Thai real estate developer, Siamese Asset.
